@kamarulx The fake one ounce Krugerrand is way to big to test in the Fisch and when you hold it it is clearly not gold – not even close (I have a video demonstrating the Fisch versus fake Krugerrand and a fake Sovereign). Honestly only a complete novice would fall for the fake Krugerrands that are on eBay at the moment

@frankknopers Both the eagle and the krigerrand are 22 karat gold (91.67%). The krugerrand uses a copper alloy while the eagle uses a silver-copper alloy. The olny 24 karat american coin is the buffalo.
get a digital scale and a micrometer and you can test all your coins.

@InspireImages De Eagle is pure gold 999 if i am correct. The Krugerrand has additional copper in it so the krugerrand is actually a bit over 33 grams.

@prowatchdoc Gold is more dense than lead so the lead fake coin would be either lighter or bigger so it won’t pass all tests on this overpriced plastic thing.
